How come you guys don't promote Monticello like those other sites out there? Like saying such things as visit Monticello and live happy, etc.

I am not complaining.....actually I like it because I already know whats here, but just curious.

This site is focused mostly on Monticello residents and its community. Because of that, most of you already know about Monticello,etc.

We would like to promote tourism, but will leave that up to businesses that would like to become sponsors. Thats why we made it so cheap for sponsors because we just we would rather have things listed other than scaring them away.

We also welcome to submitted content. We feel that if the community and members provide content, this site will trully be powered by all of us.

Another reason is that if we do what the other sites do, it wouldn't be fun. I am not down-talking the other sites, but they are mostly business directories, etc...you get the same with a phone book. We are not out to make major money with this site.

We want to keep this site fun and possibly informative in the near future.
