Here is a quick guide on how to set your profile photo so that it will show by your name in these message boards.

1. First you have to find a cool picture! A site that I use often is located here: http://www.avatarsdb.com/ you can even do a google search for "avatars" and a bunch of options show up.

2. This site allows 100 x 100 pixel avatars so keep that in mind when looking. When you find the picture that you want to use, right click on it and choose save.

3. Save the picture to your desktop so that it is easy to find.

4. Next, click on the link in the left hand column that says "Profile Photo" or click this link: http://www.mymonticello.com/component/option,com_fireboard/Itemid,27/func,upload/

5. On the new page that comes up, click browse and locate the photo that you saved to your desktop. Locate the file and then click "open".

6. After you click the "open" button, the little window will close and then click "Upload".

7. The site will pull the image that you have saved and then add it to your profile. Click the submit like and you are done!
